Forrest Gump

I watched the movie " Forrest Gump" and I like it a lot. It is about a boy who had an IQ of 75 and physical disability but did incredible things throughout his life time. He had a good Christian mum who brought him up, telling him that he was not very different from the rest. Her mum once said, "You have to do the best with what God gave you." Although he was deemed stupid, his moral compass never wavers and he was an extremely faithful lover, friend and son. He often said," Stupid is as stupid does." And his "stupidity" made him a football stardom, vietnam hero, national ping-pong player, marathon runner on the screen, shrimp tycoon and ultimately be with the one and only true love of his life. Sadly, she passed away soon, leaving him with a little Forrest Gump- his son. What is remarkable about him is that he inspired others through his innocence, simplicity, persistence, courage, loyalty and love. Indeed the world will never be the same once you have seen it through the eyes of Forrest Gump.
